Kathmandu Valley – Chitwan Tour

Kathmandu Valley -Chitwan  Tour begins in Kathmandu, where you will visit the ancient Newari kingdom of Bhaktapur and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Pashupatinath, Swayambunath and Bhaktapur. You will explore the centuries-old temples, stupas, and shrines. Each has its own rich history, which grows importance with each passing day.

After Kathmandu valley sightseeing you will head to Chitwan national park. Here you will encounter various species of wildlife and experience Tharu culture and the traditional lifestyle of one of Nepal’s indigenous people. During full-day jungle activities, you will encounter the One-Horned Indian Rhino, Asian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial, and the Sloth Bear. You can engage in a canoe ride in the Rapti River, an elephant back safari ride, a jungle walk, and many more activities. Also, you can learn about the culture and tradition of the  Tharu people, natives of the area before heading to Pokhara the next day morning.

After breakfast, we will leave Chitwan and drive back to Kathmandu on a tourist bus. During the drive on a snakelike highway, you will see the picturesque view of Himalayan peaks to the north. Almost five hours of road journey you will reach Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, you will check-in the hotel for short relax. The rest of the time is free for independent activities. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
