Langtang Valley Trekking, most commonly referred to as the ‘Glacier Valley Trekking’ is one of the best
trekking options nearby Kathmandu and is situated only 19 miles to the north of the capital. This valley
offers us with a diverse range of possibilities starting with alluring alpine forests, broad lofty pastures,

Trekkers initiate their trek at Syarubesi (1470m) and ascend to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m) as the final point
where Syarubesi is an 8 hours drive from Kathmandu.
The stupendous view of Langtang Lirung, Langtang RI, Kimshung and Dorje Lakpa encircling the valley
is a tempting factor of this trek. Additionally, visitors choose this particular trek to dive deep into the
exclusive culture of locals influenced by Tibetans.
