Exciting Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. is licensed, acknowledged and legally registered the company
under the Company Act, accredited by the Ministry of Tourism, Nepal Government. We
are also affiliated to NTB ( Nepal Tourism Board ), TAAN ( Travel Agents Association of
Nepal and NMA ( Nepal Mountaineering Association ). We have fulfilled all legal criteria
to run tourism activities in all of Nepal alongside Bhutan and Tibet.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING OR TERMS OF CONTRACT:
1. THE AGREEMENT
We ask you to carefully go through all our terms and conditions to avoid
misunderstandings later on. Once you submit the booking form, you are unanimously
bound by the terms & conditions. Please go through the terms & conditions of Exciting
Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. hereinafter referred to as “The Company” and you as the “Client”. The

Company ( Registration No 2462/074 ) and the Client will agree to the Terms &
Conditions that are outlaid in the contract and these terms & conditions will be taken as the
legal reference to settle any legal or other disputes that may arise after signing of the
contract, during the trip (s) and until all final payments are made.
2. TRIP BOOKING
Any product, itinerary that is listed in the official website that you may buy/purchase
from us will be referred to as a ‘Trip’. These might include treks, tours, expeditions and
other adventure and tourism-related programs.
A booking is considered final and legally binding only after the company sends a
a confirmation email or corresponds in such a nature and only then, the contract between the
client and the company comes into effect.
The company has the full authority to increase or decrease rates before you receive your
confirmation and also before the contract comes into effect.
You are also reminded that the company is liable or responsible for any warranty,
collateral agreement (s), prior agreements(s), description of services, or conditions, other
than those outlined herein.
3. DEPOSIT FOR BOOKING A TRIP
A. Nepal Trips
You are to make a 10% deposit of the entire trip cost on the time of booking and the
remaining 90 % upon arrival in Kathmandu and before your trip departure from
Kathmandu.
Make sure the company receives the deposit. Custom trips may require a higher
deposit or even full payment in the time of booking. Therefore, if the deposit is
different from what is mentioned in the clause herein, you will be duly notified by
the company at the time of booking.
Bhutan / Tibet Trips
A 40 % deposit needs to be addressed to the company before booking and the
the remaining amount is payable upon arrival in Kathmandu and before your trip
departure on your trip to Bhutan / Tibet.
Payment Modes

Deposits for booking can be made by Bank Transfer, Credit Card ( Visa or Master ) and
Western Union.
Payment by Credit Card ( Master Card and Visa Card)
You can easily download the payment form here and then print it out and fill in the
necessary details, including your credit card information and signature, print it and
email the form to Exciting Himalaya Pvt. Ltd.
• Please be noted that there is a 3-5 % surplus on payments made by credit cards.

Note: – Bank service charge should be paid by the clients themselves.
Please be already informed that the company is not liable for any delay or loss that may
result during the transfer process. If for any unintended reason, the amount received by the
company is less than the dealt amount, you are requested to take care of the difference on
arrival.
You are also requested to email us the Bank Reference Number and Remittance Slips
before you initiate the transfer. The bank mistakenly sometimes forwards the money
under a different name and these details will help us to verify our claim.
4. FINAL PAYMENT
Nepal Trips
All the final payments related to treks, expeditions, tours, climbing, rafting and
many more can be made upon arrival in Nepal and before the trip departure. These
types of payments can be made by bank transfer, cash or credit cards. A 4 % surplus
is applicable on all the payments made by credit cards on deposits, final balances, and trip extensions.
Bhutan / Tibet
The entire amount should be paid 30 days prior to the booked trek date. The
payment can be made by Bank Transfer, or by credit card. There is a 4 % surplus on
credit card payments. This is applicable to all deposits, final balances and trip
extensions.
5. CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP BY THE CLIENT–IMPORTANT
Cancellations of any nature by the client must be sent through email and duly
acknowledged by the company. The cancellation charges will be determined by the
company on the date in which the cancellation request is received.
• Cancellation of Nepali Trips -Information prior to 7 or more days before departure
will amount to 20 % Loss of Deposit.
• Cancellation of Nepal Trips- Information prior to less than 6 days before departure
will amount to 100 % of the cost of services booked.
• Cancellation of Bhutan and Tibet Trips- 30 days prior or more before departure will

amount to 50 % loss of deposit.
• Cancellation of Bhutan and Tibet Trips- 29 days or less prior to departure will
amount to 100 % loss of the cost of services booked.
6. TRIP / TOUR CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY – IMPORTANT
Exciting Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. reserves the full rights to cancel any booking or trip which
may include a confirmed/guaranteed trip prior to departure if any circumstances arise
beyond the control of the company. Such situations may include natural disasters and
calamities, flight cancellations, strikes, weather conditions, industrial actions, wars, riots,
epidemics, quarantines government intervention or other unfathomed and unforeseen
circumstances.
Under such circumstances, Exciting Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. will refund the deposited amount
after making deductions of the cost that has incurred for the preparation for the trip.
7. PASSPORT / VISAS
Clients must hold a passport with at least a 6-month validity from the date of return.
Nepalese Visas are obtainable from Nepalese Embassies / Consulates overseas or in your

8. COMPLAINTS
Complaints of any nature should be immediately lodged with the leader/guide or the
responsible authority so that the person can take immediate action to resolve the issue.
9. ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
Adventure Travel involves colors of rush and thrill along with some risks as well. Exciting
Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. Is going to leave no stones unmoved to try everything in our
professional means to make your trip as successful and pleasant as possible. However,
under some unfavorable conditions, certain factors are bound to affect us which may
include landslides, road blockages, floods, snow, political unrest, flight cancellations,
delays, sickness and accidents, weather and climate. We, unfortunately, are not liable for
damages, injuries or even death resulting from such circumstances.
